… the contest

So, Marty rings me earlier in the week to tell me about this contest that he soooooo wants to enter. “Be one of the very lucky 96 winners to join Fitzi and the V8 Supercar drivers (Jamie Whincup and David Reynolds) as you get the chance to take to the track to try and beat the V8 driver’s times.” So, I go online and enter both of us, after all we both are into adrenaline and GoKarts! ;)

On Thursday my phone rings and I’m told that I am one of the lucky winners. As much as I loved it I asked if I could give it to Marty and they said “yes” which was awesome. Marty spoils me rotten and I so wanted him to have this!

So, we go to the Warren Ultra Fast Karts in Cockburn on Friday and it was fantastic… you couldn’t wipe the grin off of Marty’s face! The event was run so well and everyone had the best time… Fitzi was, well Fitzi (awesomely funny) and the marketing crew were amazing!

I, of course, took my Bigma lens to get some cool shots for Martaay and got dobbed in by a friend and ended up taking some images for 96FM. As a thanks I got to go out with Fitzi and the boys for some laps myself. So, I still ended up getting to play in the Karts… you have to love it! ;)

So, I hope you enjoy the images from my day off that ended up being a work day that ended up being a play day!

Marty and I are so excited for our “official” season to be ending with the wedding of Ally & James tomorrow!!! You couldn’t meet nicer people and their celebration is going to be a beautiful and intimate beach wedding… how perfect. We couldn’t think of a better way to spend our Saturday than with these two! ;)
