I’ve been trying to get back to my blog posts for some time now… I’m sure in winter I am “supposed” to have more time!!! I’m not sure who pulled the drainplug on time, but they did!!! ;)
The weather leading up to Bec and Brad’s wedding day was, and I’m not exaggerating here, appalling! We had gale force winds, torrential downpours, and generally hideous conditions leading up to the wedding, and including early the morning of the wedding. It looked like my streak was going to be broken… most of my brides know to what I refer! Poor Bec was feeling horrible that it would be her wedding that broke the streak.
I wasn’t stressed as I figured 3 years was a good run, and it would end at some point… but it wasn’t going to be Bec’s wedding that broke the streak. As we arrived at King’s Park the skies opened up and no rain was to be found near us for the remainder of the day. Now, what I probably failed to mention to them was that no rain did not necessarily equate to warm weather! (doh)
Although we managed to have good weather, it was quite fresh all day. I am always hot on a wedding day, so I didn’t really notice except for the shivering of the bride and her bridesmaids, poor things. The guys were gentlemen and offered their jackets whenever possible during the photo shoot. Everyone was a good sport and I can find evidence of people freezing in only a scarce few images.
Thanks so much guys and enjoy the photos! You were absolutely fabulous!
PS. I would like to thank the gorgeous Krystal McGee for allowing the beautiful Martaay to have the day off from photographing! The poor thing didn’t have a day off completely though as he had to stay home and take care of the newest addition to the family… stay tuned for more! ;)
Now for some images…
Thank you guys… I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of your wedding day! You were great to spend the day with, even with the icicles dangling from your noses! ;) (kidding about the icicles!)
Have a fantastic honeymoon and I can’t wait to catch up with you when you get back!
