… the wedding
(Beware… long single post instead of breaking it up)
As we pulled into the drive of Bianca’s parents’ home I knew the day would be steeped in classical style. There was a hum around the marquee as people busily prepared the area overlooking the west for the celebration to come later that day. The hum seemed everywhere as we entered the house, there was so much to be done. The excitement mixed with a bit of nerves, was palpable.
I love how each of the weddings I photograph seem to have their own personalities. Some are loud and scream out at you… the day and all its details are vivacious. Others are steeped in classical traditions and you want to stop and quietly savour each detail of the day as it unfolds. As soon as Bianca slipped into her wedding dress she shone of vintage beauty and I knew the wedding day would take on this wonderful character. Every detail of the wedding, from the veil to the decorations in the marquee, reflected the style that this couple exudes. The reception held at her parents’ property was stunning and Mother Nature even did her part to provide us with a stunning sunset. The marquee overlooked this amazing natural showcase for all the guests to marvel at.
The day was absolutely stunning and so much fun to photograph! Thanks so much to Bianca, Michael and their supporting cast for being such fun to work with. Thanks to all the suppliers for their roles in making this wedding so wonderfully beautiful!
Congratulations on a stunningly beautiful wedding guys! Thanks so much for letting us share in your special day!
