I thought I would put a link up to the newest bridal website in Perth, Blush Bridal. They seem to still be populating it with information, so keep checking. They will be publishing a Bridal Magazine around the middle of the year. I am advertising in both…. check out my new banner ad if you have a chance.
To my bride whose forehead got chopped off in the little photo, as Bart would say, “I didn’t do it!” We’ll see if I can get them to use the thumbnail I provided which supplied the full forehead! ;)
I’m working on some more blogs, so don’t change that Batchannel… there’s more excitement to come!
Rynelle and Brad… what can I say??? What a beautiful couple! I love weddings I get from “country couples”, they always seem to be the nicest people and have the best group of people around them! This couple were NO exception and EVERYONE on the day was an absolute pleasure to be around! Both Rynelle and Brad are the sweetest and together they make an absolutely beautiful couple! I hadn’t been able to spend much time with them leading up to the wedding, but l left Saturday loving even more this really cool job I have. I had the best day guys, so thanks so much!
Weddings are funny things and I never know what I will be doing on the day OTHER than photography. I love sharing stories with colleagues and friends about the things we get up to, photography sometimes being put on hold to lace up a dress or pin on a corsage. Well, on Saturday my resume lengthened again as I added minor plumbing to the work experience section! One of the bridesmaids battled with gravity when putting on her earring… and lost… it down the drain! Horror struck (and perhaps an expletive), she stared down the drain in disbelief! Well, before you know it we were dismantling the pipe and removing it to dig out the earring. I’m happy to say that was the biggest drama of the day and rest went without a hitch! Only one thing… if anyone knows of a hotel north of the river flooding out… I know nothing about it! (I can’t afford to be banned from EVERY hotel in perth) ;)
Celebrant: Catie Woods. As always Catie, you were lovely and a beautifully calming effect during the ceremony!
Marty (martaay is his artistic name as I’m sure you’ve figured out) had a fantastic shoot and nearly showed me up at times! (Rather cheeky of him don’t you think!?!?!) You have to love it! It’s the most fantastic thing shooting alongside the most important person in your life and I absolutely LOVE watching him grow and trying to be more creative with his photography. He compliments me in life and more and more in photography as well! The next couple of shots are Martaay’s as well… thanks bub! ;)
Thanks again for letting us share the day with you guys!!! Enjoy the Tennis!!!
Victoria and I met two years ago when she was the celebrant for a couple whose wedding I photographed, Tanya and Matt (hey guys!). Both the ceremony and reception was held on a fishing charter boat and after the ceremony Victoria and I had a chance to chat. Instant click! A year later we caught up again at another wedding and I got to hear all about her beautiful John who was obviously sweeping her off her feet! Not too long after they were engaged and she rang me to photograph her wedding. I was soooo excited. Victoria has one of those infectious smiles and bubbly fun personalities that makes you want to spend time with her! She is one of the most vibrant celebrants I’ve worked with and I can’t recommend her enough. What a treat to be invited to share in her and John’s special day and to photograph the two of them smiling all day!
I’d like to again thank John from Launch Film Productions! It’s always great working with John and he’s a fantastic videographer!
I’d also like to mention Pamela Eaves, the celebrant. I always think it would be quite difficult to work a wedding for someone who is in the same industry. Pamela was fantastic and was a beautiful and calming addition to the day. She is another celebrant that I love working with and she has a beautiful elegance about her and her ceremonies!
Thanks so much guys and I hope you enjoy the photos! Marty and I loved spending the wedding day with you! If anyone is looking for a fantastic celebrant, be sure to look Victoria up! While you’re chatting to her ask how she and John met… it’s a FANTASTIC story!!! Makes you love weddings even more!
