Ice cream, sunshine, amazing light and a gentle breeze blowing through the long grass…
Summer is on it’s way and there is no better way to feel that than to photograph one of our gorgeous wedding couples! Hannah & Brian wanted an engagement shoot which we will turn into a Guest Signing Book for them to use at their wedding reception. We waited for the rains to leave Perth for our shoot and happened to pick an amazing day. The Rockingham foreshore was chosen as it’s an important area for both of them and even with the hoards of people that turned out to bask in the sun it was a perfect choice.
It’s been quiet on the m&m front but I do love having some time off from photography so the creative juices can be re-booted and areas that you know well you manage to see in a completely different light than before. As wedding season gets underway I’m reminded of how very much I love this job and our clients. We are in awe of the trust you put in us and letting us capture your relationship and celebrations with our own creative flair.
Thanks to you both for being such fun, we can’t wait for the wedding!
… some of our photos featured in the Spring 2010 issue of Cosmopolitan Bride.
I am so excited to announce that two of my brides’ weddings made it into the Spring edition of Cosmopolitan Bride. Cosmopolitan Bride is, in my humble opinion, one of the coolest wedding magazines in the business. I’m never amazed that many of my brides tell me that it’s the only magazine they bought when trying to find inspiration for their wedding day! I know there are some other amazing magazines out there for the bride, but I just love this one! (I never imagined myself being a Cosmo Gal) ;)
This past wedding season was simply amazing and I just love that these two are being showcased in Cosmo Bride. Bianca has impeccable taste and with the help of the Original Wedding Company she transformed her childhood home into a stunning view WITH stunning views. The site offered the guests opulent comfort with sensational food and Mother Nature threw in a wedding present by offering everyone one of the most amazing sunsets we had seen all year! Here is an excerpt from the article and we are delighted that Bianca’s wedding was featured in the magazine. Thanks for letting us photograph your amazing day! ;)
Bianca & Michael… the article…
Kendall and Kevin also took up some real estate in this issue in the Transport section. We had the most amazing time photographing the couple while trolling up and down the Swan River. They chose the most amazing site for their ceremony and after a few photos along Point Walter we all boarded onto the Charter Boat to spend some time lazily wandering along the Swan River. It was brilliant! Cosmopolitan Bride chose to include one of their images in an article on unique wedding day transport and we think it was a great choice, we highly recommend this mode of transport to the brides here in Perth. It really took advantage of the weather and river views that Perth has to offer!
There are so many options available that it can become almost information overload. If you are planning a wedding, you NEED to buy Cosmopolitan Bride. It is an amazing publication and you’ll love it!
Again, thanks so much to Bianca and Michael and Kendall and Kevin for your wonderful style. I’m so glad Cosmo noticed and wanted to feature images from your wonderful weddings!
To celebrate we are offering a special for the month of August. If you are booking us say “Cosmo” and we’ll add an extra print credit to your package!

thanks for sharing guys, they were memorable days to us and are now in the pages of Cosmo Bride! How cool! ;)
I have to admit that I was a bit nervous about this wedding. Jenna has the most amazing sense of style and I was so happy that she and Justin chose Marty and I to capture their wedding day. The only problem I had was that I knew she had really high expectations and I would have to be on my game! Nerves are good. I used to play a lot of serious sports in my younger days, and I always loved knowing the nerves were kicking in and the adrenaline would begin to flow just moments before we would head onto the field.
I felt the same happening on the day of J&J’s wedding and I hoped it meant we were in for an amazing day… I was NOT to be disappointed! Jenna and Justin are so gorgeous and together their smiles light up the world around them. We share similar artistic visions and a love of dogs. Be sure to look for their beautiful Arnie as the official ring bearer. He is the sweetest dog and was so cute on the day with his little tie!
I’m so happy to know that a wonderful friendship is growing between all of us and I can say that I am so proud of the images we got on the day. They were so amazing and had fun with the process. Their friends and family in the bridal party were so sweet and we laughed all day long with them. Thanks so much to all of you for making me love my job even more, something I didn’t think was possible! ;)
And so, without further adieu… part 1 of the photos. Be warned, it is a long post and I struggled to get it down to these! ;)
